The Mercian Regiment Museum (Worcestershire) (formerly the Worcestershire Regiment Museum) is an independent museum, accredited by the Arts Council (Registration Number: RD633). The Museum is also a registered charity (Number: 276510), legally constituted by a Declaration of Trust dated 1 May 1978.

Mission Statement

To collect and preserve the history, traditions and achievements of the Regiment, its antecedent components and those who have and are serving in it from 1694 to the present day and to present them in a way which entertains, educates and inspires as wide a range of visitors as possible.

Vision

The Trustees’ vision for the future is that Museum should be widely recognised as a dynamic inclusive and progressive institution that capitalises on the strengths of its collection and modern technology to reach out and provide an experience for visitors and users that excites, inspires and educates, which prompts them to return, and which generates sufficient income for the Museum to develop and flourish.
